Space Scholars Overview

Space Scholars The Space Scholars Program invites four-year college graduates through PhD-level students in the areas of science and engineering to participate in a unique summer program that may lead to graduate fellowships and full-time employment. These opportunities exist in the Air Force Research Laboratory's (AFRL) Space Vehicles Directorate, which has facilities at Kirtland Air Force Base in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The forte of the Space Scholars Program is the close interaction provided between the students and the Laboratory’s highly regarded researchers. These researchers function as mentors to the students, offering them close support and guidance in carrying out their research.
